More Than Piano Lessons! Discover Move Over Mozart with Reviews

We have really enjoyed our experience at Move Over Mozart. We have two boys 10 & 7 and they both started when they were 6 years old. Move Over Mozart is an amazing program that isn’t too overwhelming for little kids. Pam has designed the program to be a perfect balance of learning how to read music and learning how to play songs while making it a lot of fun. Our youngest has only done Virtual Learning and he is surprisingly doing really well! We are impressed with all the teachers, but our boys have LOVED learning from Josh, he is so great with kids.

These distant piano lessons have been amazing. The price is right and my second grader has made huge strides in her piano abilities. We love the app and the teachers are the best.

My son has been learning piano in Move Over Mozart for four years. Ms. Pam is engaging and very good at motivating students. My son says playing piano for 25 minutes every day is his primary goal.

We have been very pleased with the progress made by our kids working with Ms. Sachie. She is a great teacher and the boys love her style of teaching and look forward to her class every week.

I am absolutely amazed at how much my kids (6 and 8) have learned. They’re able to read the notes on the page, but they’re also understanding the notes, hand positions, rhythms, and so much more. They started in-person before the pandemic and have continued online for the last two years. I am so amazed with their progress, as well as their teacher’s patience, kindness, and ability to teach virtually. Thank you!!!

Our son was in a small 6 student class. It was his absolute first time with playing any instrument and I was surprised by how much he learned about notes and rhythm.

Engaging teachers use fun games and worksheets to make learning to play the piano a fun experience for kids. My children both started around 4 years old (now 6 and 8) and I continue to be amazed at their progress.

A few months ago I would not have believed that virtual lessons for a 4 and 6 year old would have worked out well, but this has been a great experience for both of them. Not only have they enjoyed it, but they’ve stuck with it!! Highly recommend!

My daughter has been learning piano from Move Over Mozart for about 3 yrs now, first at our local community center and now remotely. And I can’t believe the progress she has made considering the course is taught via app and the online one-on-one lesson being only 8 mins long. My daughter did not play piano or read music before taking her first class here and now she can.

I am loving these classes for my girls ages (4 and 6). We are doing the group classes at NKCC. The MOM program has made it very fun for them (they enjoy going to class and they enjoy practicing). I think part of the joy for them came because of the beginning sense of accomplishment that the program/teacher provides in terms of “reading” music and playing pieces almost immediately. (Reading is in quotes because initially it is color coded (rather than on a staff.) - And today we enjoyed our first recital: it was very well-organized, nice and short for the parents and a chance for the kids to perform. They loved the recital and got a great sense of accomplishment from it. I would highly recommend this program for beginners! (And from the super impressive performance today by some of the older students, it seems like continuing with the classes and the private instruction pays off.)

My son joined Move over Mozart about a year and a half ago and we have seen almost immediate improvement in his piano skills! The transition to online piano lessons has been smooth and Miss Pam was amazing at finding learning platforms that provide the best experience for student/teacher. Miss Pam is very good at assessing a student’s abilities and interests and adjusting her lessons accordingly. She makes the lessons fun and challenging. I would highly recommend her as a piano teacher.

Our boys have been with Move Over Mozart for about a year now. Even with remote learning, their progress has been amazing. Miss Pam is patient, encouraging and makes learning fun for them.

It has been a joy to see how much our daughter has improved over the past couple years. I was skeptical about the move to online classes, but I am impressed by the transition. You are all awesome! Thank you for all of the hard work you do.

Our family has loved Moved Over Mozart. Our son has developed his basic piano skills at a pace that is comfortable for him. The program is motivating and not competitive, which we like. Mr. Josh is very praising and approachable, My son really enjoys working with him. A ten minute lesson with videos sounds like way too little, but it works!

And here is a comment about our piano party . . .

Thanks for inviting my daughter, she had a blast. She enjoyed the story, playing for others, listening to others play, and the Chopin story was great. It’s actually a perfect time as I’ve been playing Fantasie Impromptu lately.
